Judy Rich has lived in the Conejo Valley since 1979. She feels that the beautiful Conejo Valley is a marvelous place to call home. The Conejo Valley is just north of Los Angeles and is adjacent to Malibu to the west. The eastern half of the Conejo Valley is within Los Angeles county and the western half is within Ventura county. The Los Angeles county area consists of the cities of Agoura Hills and a portion of Westlake Village. Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park and the other portion of Westlake Village fall within Ventura county. There are three outstanding school districts including: Las Virgenes Unified School District Conejo Valley Unified School District Oak Park School District Las Virgenes Unified School District includes families living in the cities of Agoura Hills and Westlake Village in the Los Angeles county. Conejo Valley Unified School District includes families in Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park in Ventura county. The Oak Park Unified School District includes the homes in the city of Oak Park. The Conejo Valley is renowned for its wonderful climate, low crime rate, great schools, minimal traffic, numerous golf courses and picturesque settings. We are in close proximity to the Malibu and Santa Monica beaches and Channel Islands and Ventura harbors. We get wonderful breezes. In addition, Thousand Oaks is most often rated as being one of the safest cities in the nation for its size. Shopping centers are very close including such markets as Ralphs, Vons, Gelsons, Bristol Farms, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. Marvelous shopping opportunities are also available at the beautiful Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks. A superb entertainment center is found at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. In addition, the Los Robles Medical Center in Thousand Oaks is rated very high.
